In 2016, we joined Carhartt WIP and Helsinki-based Pelago Bicycles for Freeway Your Mind, a three-way collaboration built around cycling, utility, and everyday movement.

The project brought together each brand’s approach to functional design. Pelago developed a toolbox-green single-speed porteur bicycle, Carhartt WIP created a collection of cycling-focused apparel, and we designed a 25-liter roll-top bag specifically for the bike. Built in San Francisco, the bag attached directly to the Pelago front rack and could be removed and carried off the bike with a shoulder strap.

The result was a complete system designed to move easily between riding and everyday life, combining the workwear heritage of Carhartt WIP, Pelago’s approach to practical urban bicycles, and Mission Workshop’s focus on adaptable, weather-resistant equipment.
