Vans x Mission Workshop

In 2017, We partnered with Vans on a limited collection that brought together Vans’ skate heritage and our approach to technical, all weather design. The collaboration included a purpose built version of the Arkiv Field Pack and two Vans MTE footwear styles, combining modular carry, weather resistant materials, and urban utility in a collection designed for moving through the city by bike, board, or on foot.

 

• Vans x Mission Workshop Backpack
  A 20 liter adaptation of the Arkiv Field Pack constructed from ballistic weave Cordura with a coated interior liner. Multiple Arkiv® rails provided modular attachment points, while an integrated carry system secured a skateboard, snowboard, or bike wheel. The pack could be configured as a traditional rucksack or rolltop and included a removable Arkiv® tool pocket with integrated U lock carry.

• Vans x Mission Workshop Sk8 Hi MTE
  A technical interpretation of the iconic Vans high top designed for cold and wet conditions. The shoe combined a weather resistant upper, thermal insulation, and a lugged waffle outsole for increased traction, finished with understated Mission Workshop detailing.

• Vans x Mission Workshop UltraRange MTE
  Vans’ then new UltraRange received the same all weather treatment, combining LuxLiner construction, an UltraCush Lite midsole, thermal insulation, and a Mountain Edition lugged waffle outsole. The result was a lightweight technical shoe built around comfort, traction, and everyday movement.
